NOTE:
For 2004-2014 models using the Factory charger with the On Board Charge Controller (OBC), some additional installation procedure(s) are required. The Negative battery cable MUST pass through the OBC for the batteries to properly charge. A 2 GA wire will NOT pass through the factory OBC. For Maximum performance and increased charge capacity, consider upgrading your charger to a modern Smart Charger & eliminate the factory OBC and Factory Charger.
2015 & up Precedent models use a smart charger (ERIC) and do not have an OBC to consider during a wire upgrade. If your pre-2015 Precedent has been updated and already uses a smart charger, the OBC has been bypassed then you also do not need to take the OBC into consideration for a wire upgrade.
